AI Will Change Movie Fight Scenes Forever

Image
Gen AI will change fight scenes in action movies forever. Here's a taste of what's to come. Or AI will be used to just keep recreating the same boring fight scenes over and over, but for smaller budgets. The bizarre remix music in the above clip is from Worst Album Ever band contributor Reckless Erik.

Why We Made 100 Pieces Of AI Music Slop

The playlist for the 'AI Music Slop Top 100 Countdown' on our YouTube channel is now an archive of early AI Music that won't be deleted later, when AI Music has improved significantly. Listening back to AI Music we generated for this countdown now, a lot of it doesn't sound that bad at all, and often not detectable immediately as 'AI Music.' But it's often lo-fi stuff, or a bit tinny, because we didn't remix or master most of it, leaving the generations as raw as possible. While still being mostly listenable. Here's the 'AI Music Slop Top 100 Countdown'. Dive in wherever you like, of course. There's no real order of preference.  But why did we, as a band, even mess around with AI Music in the first place? An explainer below. Or here .

AI Slop 100: 'Do What You Need To Stay Alive'

Number 100 in the AI Slop Top 100 Countdown.  This entry features Dafid Bowtie, singing a Survive The Pandemic song with lyrics by DPM and was made with one of the first AI Song generators back in mid-2022. The tune is the Public Domain piece 'Scarborough Fair'.  The YouTube link is here . For two years, members of WAE have experimented with Generative AI to create new music, video and imagery, while other members of our musicians & artists collective have stuck with Real Instruments and Physical Painting and Camera Photography and Meat Sculptures, resisting the lure of AI.  But for the next few weeks, this blog will provide a countdown of the 100 pieces of AI Slop members of Worst Album Ever have created, presented, in no particular order because that would require re-listening to some real crap.  The artists who created these works were out-voted on ditching the name "AI Slop" but did win the vote on sprinkling Real Human Music amongst the AI Slop to see if an...

We are the 'Worst Album Ever' band.  We play, sing and record what we like. Our lives shows , like our music, can be good or just awful, but we can never accused of false advertising.  Unlike all other bands, we can experiment with any music we choose - 20 second songs, 50 minute instrumentals, bass solos, bass drum solos, gurgle opera, absurd music, fukt up theatrical, highly experimental lurgeflunk, classic rock, art rock, flog rock, dope-hop, hope-hop, flop-hop, gronko, flurgle, spaffy, turge, all the best musical genres.  We're not afraid to fail. How can we? When we're already The Worst Album Ever band? For the past two years, the musicians and artists of 'Worst Album Ever' band have been experimenting with AI Art, AI Music and AI Vid. Because we began in 2021-2022, we've accumulated a lot of early AI Slop, some of which we decided need their place in the History Of AI/Generative Music. It will fun. Come along. Follow 'Worst Album Ever' on Y...

How We Mainstreamed AI Slop In Three Weeks

Image
WHEN WORST ALBUM EVER BAND BEGAN USING THE TERM "AI SLOP" THE WORLD'S MEDIA QUICKLY FOLLOWED Lookit. Three weeks ago on YouTube, we launched our Top 100 AI Slop Countdown: Two weeks ago, the New York Times, CNBC, The Guardian and a thousand other news media outlets adopted the AI Slop: One week ago, Stephen Colbert on The Late Show fully mainstreamed the term AI Slop. Yesterday, Universal Music, Sony Music, Warner Music, BMG and numerous other music companies launched a lawsuit against AI Slop Music generators Udio Music and Suno AI:  All of this because the 'Worst Album Ever' artists & musicians collective launched a Top 100 Countdown of the AI Music some members have been generating for the past two years. What's clearly happened is this: The bosses of Sony, Universal and BMG heard about our AI Slop Countdown, checked it out and realised that AI Slop is the Future Of Music. And it has to be stopped. The obvious power and influence we now wield feels almo...
